| It is overwhelming to think of the amount of support we have received from the community of Sudbury , family, and friends over the past three years. Jacob's Journey was held to help costs for Jacob's medication, travel and medical expenses. Since June of 2004 Jaocb has been fighting to reach remission from OMS, and we have had many set backs. Jacob is now on a clinical trial which looks promising and a stem cell transplant would be done as a last resort to get Jake off of the ACTH. We can not express how thankful we are to Barb Murdoch, Marc Lanthier, Dan Bartolucci, Jodi Lahti, and George LaLonde for organizing Jacob's Journey and to all of the volunteers who made the night possible. |
