Thank Yous

Words can not describe how thankfull we are to all of our family, friends and co-workers for their thoughtfullness, support, and donations throughout this time in our lives.......our greatest hope is to one day have the opportunity to return the kindness shown to us....we are eternally indebted.......

To our Family:

Grandma and Nonno....Thank you so much for your thoughtfullness and support. We can not convey in this message just how much you have done for us.....your many trips to Ottawa for support, Christmas meals and bringing all of our presents to Ottawa so that we could have a real Christmas, looking after Joshua, spending countless hours cooking meals, praying for Jacob.....

Nana....Thank you so much for the time you have taken to travel with us to Ottawa and stay with Joshua at the Ronald McDonald house, the love and support you have shown to us, and the time you have taken away from your life to be with us in Sudbury to just lend a hand.....

Auntie Mel...For all of your support and 'qualified' advice about Jacob when we needed it the most, taking the time to make a special trip to Ottawa to offer support.....your understanding with all of our late night calls in a panic.....

Auntie Amy and Uncle James (and little Portia)....Thank you for opening up your house and life to us while we have been in Ottawa. Your hospitality and support has made our lives in Ottawa so much easier.....it has been wonderfull to see little Portia growing up....

Auntie Nyree....Thank you for all of your thoughtfullness and support, and leanding your ear to listen to our worries any hour of the day....

My Father...for giving me the strength to deal with what lies around the corner....

Great Grandma and Cecil..Thank you for all of your prayers, taking the time to come to Ottawa to offer support, and being there when we needed help....

Granny....Thank you for all of your support and prayers...your thoughtfullness has meant the world to us....

Nonna...Thank you so much for your love and support...and your prayers for Jacob....

And to all of our Aunts, Uncles and cousins thank you for just being who you are and being there any time of the day when we are in need....your strength and guildence has allowed us to go on in our battle against this terrible disease....

It is beyond belief what you have done for our family.....the generousity and support of all of the guys has enabled our family to be together throughout this difficult time. A special thank you to all of your family's who have given up time with thier loved one to work extra shifts. Thank you for all of your support and prayers....and the time taken to organize all of the shift changes and the donations for our family....words can not describe what this has meant for our family....

To everyone that I work with in the CSC in Sudbury and to Ian and Bill....Thank you so much for all of your support throughout this time in our lives.....I can not believe what wonderfull, thoughtfull and supportive people I work with......for your thoughtfullness we will be forever indebted....
To everyone who helped out with the barbecue in North Bay.....your thoughtfullness in organizing such and event will never be forgotten.....it is overwhelming to describe what this has meant for our family.....

Jacob's Night

Tears fill our eyes when we think about this special night held in Jacob's honour. Thanks is not enough when we think about the amount of work that went into organizing this event. The amount of support that has been given to our family is beyond belief...when we walked into the Caruso Club on Friday night we were overwhelmed by the turnout of family and friends. A special thank you to Dan Bartolucci for taking the time to organize this event and to everyone who helped in his quest to make this night a success.

The Big Nickle Pioneer Club - Thank You so much for all of your generosity and support. The gas coupons from Canadian Tire were the perfect donation. We do a lot of driving.....Jacob sleeps in the van for his naps every day!!!

Moe Mantha Jr Golf Tournament- Thank You for your continued support and generosity...what a wonderful charity. A special thank you to Sue Castongauy for taking the time to send in the original request letter and to April Mantha for your ongoing support and thoughtfullness.

Greater Sudbury Police-"E" Platoon- Thank You so much for your generous donation...we hope to be able to thank everyone personally with a visit to the station with Jacob when he has recovered.
